There are some poignant moments as well like the one where the author was watching a sleazy film in Kanpur unaware of his father's death back home in Allahabad Author's Note: I have written this autobiography just to bring to the limelight the life of an ordinary middle-class man whose profession happens to be journalism. I realize that autobiographies are generally written by celebrities and yet have written mine as I am sure that thousands of readers would just love to read and autobiography penned by a newsman especially if it has been written in a daring and bold manner vis-a-vis his personal life.
